Brownie Ice Cream Pie1 1/2 ounces (1 1/2 squares) unsweetened chocolate 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1 quart pistachio, mocha or vanilla ice cream Cool Whip Shaved chocolate Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler. Cool slightly; add sugar. In a bowl beat eggs until foamy; add chocolate mixture and continue beating. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate and bake at 325 degrees F for about 35 minutes. When cool, fill with ice cream. Freeze. To serve, top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
