Honey-Poppy Seed Filling

1 cup ground poppy seeds
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon allspice

Bring poppy seeds and milk to a slow boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir constantly until thick. Add sugar and honey and cook another 2 minutes. Add allspice last.

Makes enough for 3 dozen kolaches.
