Self-Frosting Anise Cookies2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon aniseed 3 eggs (at room temperature) 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder. Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed for 30 minutes. Add flour mixture and beat for 3 minutes. Add aniseed. Drop by teaspoons on greased and floured cookie sheets. Dry overnight. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 minutes.
